We’d like to send a big thank you to everyone who participated in the first People’s Involvement Fair at Indiana University. This was an important step on the road to a better university.
It is quite powerful to see pro-Palestine protesters, outraged academics, overstretched facilities staff, union members and a disillusioned board of trustees member all standing together at the same event!
To those of you getting these emails for the first time, welcome to the Peoples 2030 Project! We are students, staff and faculty who have a shared vision of the university, and are building the infrastructure to fight back.
Of course the work doesn’t stop just because we pulled off a successful event. The only way we get anything is through sustained action.
To get involved fill out our interest form and join us for our next organizing meeting on Sunday April 27th at 4pm. This will be a preliminary version of our summer organizing sessions beginning May 17th. These sessions will lay the groundwork for big things in the Fall!
Stay tuned for more.
